Kenya’s Edward Cheserek stormed to victory at the eighth edition of the Copenhagen Half Marathon held on Sunday (17) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Cheserek passed his compatriot Bernard Koech who had commanded the race from the 15k mark where he had passed in 42:05 but King Cheserek fought hard and closed the gap and pushed hard passing Koech at the 200m mark and forging ahead to cut the tape first in 59:11 with the latter coming home two seconds later.
