World Marathon Record holder, Eliud Kipchoge wrote history at the Berlin Marathon when he won the race for the fifth time in the streets of Berlin.
Kipchoge crossed the finish line in 2:02.42 and was followed by his compatriot Vincent Kipkemoi who making a debut of the distance with a new personal best of 2:03.13 with Tadese Takele of Ethiopia who was also on a debut closing the podium three finishes in a new personal best of 3:03.24.
