The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has banned Nzubechi Grace Nwokocha for three years for the Presence/Use of a Prohibited Substance (Ostarine & Ligandrol) which is a breach of the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules.
The 21-year-old Nwokocha, a multiple time national champion over 100m, has a personal best time in the 100m of 10.97 seconds set at the 2022 World Championships in Eugene, Oregon, USA. She also ran a personal best of 22.44s in the 200m.
The AIU has banned Nzubechi Grace Nwokocha (Nigeria) for 3 years, from 3 August 2022, for the Presence/Use of Prohibited Substances (Ostarine & Ligandrol). DQ results since 3 August 2022.

Nwokocha was a member of Nigerian women’s 4x100m team that competed at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Game. This ban has costed her country to loose the gold medal.
The winning team included Tobi Amusan, Rosemary Chukwuma, Favour Ofili, and Grace Nwokocha.
