World record holder Dennis Kimetto has refuted claims that is going around in some media outlets that he will be competing at the Boston Marathon which is the world oldest marathon.
The 34 years-old used his social media account of twitter to rubbish the claims saying, “Will not be running the Boston Marathon what is written in media. Training is going great, will soon announce where I will make my comeback!”.
Kimetto shocked the world in 2014 at the Berlin Marathon when he set the marathon world record of 2:02.57 that made him be the first man to break the 2:03 for the distance.
The 2018 Boston marathon will be held on 16th April.
