The 2014 Summer Youth Olympics 3000m champion, Thierry Ndikumwenayo was at it again after a forth night victory as he floored the defending champion at the 31st edition of the Cross Internacional de Itálica held on Sunday (20) in Santiponce, Spain.
The 24 year-old who is billed as the fastest raising star, took his second cross title as he put on a spirirted fight to edge out his fellow compatriot Rodrigue Kwizera who was also fighting to defend his title but was over powered at the final stage, claiming the title in 28:51 with the latter given the same margin of time.
World U20 3000m bronze medallist Levy Kibet who was second at the Cross Internacional de Atapuerca a forth night ago was forced to settle in third place in a time of 28:57.
World 10,000m bronze medallist Stanley Waithaka came home in fourth place in 29:00 with World U20 5000m Silver medallist, Merhawi Mebrahtu from Eritrea finishing in fifth in 29:08.
