Kenya’s Felix Kibitok won the 47th edition of the Stramilano Half Marathon that was held on Sunday (25) in Milan, Italy.
Kibitok who came to this race with a personal best of 1:03.26 that he got at the Nairobi Standard Chartered Marathon in 2017 after finishing in pole position.
The Kenyan took control of the race in the final six km and he never looked cutting the tape with a new pb of 1:00.11.
“Am greatful for the win but a little disapointed with my result because my target was to go under one hour,” said Kibitok.
Eritrea’s Shumay Mogos Solomon took second position with a new personal best of 1:00.40 with another Kenyan Paul Kariuki Mwangi closing the podium three in 1:00.42.
