Stephen Arita took the top honors at the 3rd edition of the 10km Nyamira North Road Race that was held on Sunday (31) in Esanige Stadium, Nyamira County.
The KDF runner battled with the race favorite Enock Onchari who had won the first two editions, but he managed to hold him off to cut the tape in28:55.05 with Onchari forced to settle in second place crossing the line in 29:19.54.
Evans Mayaka closed the first three podium finishes in 29:27.80.
Barnabas Lemah and Felix Boera finished in fourth and fifth place in 29:27.90 and 29:35.60 respectively.
