Simon Loitanyang wins Prato Half Marathon

Kenya’s Simon Kibet Loitanyang took the top honors at the 32nd edition of the Prato Half Marathon that was held on Sunday (10) in Prato, Italy.

Loitanyang took charge of the race at 19km mark, as he surged ahead to cut the tape in a time of 1:05.16. He was followed by his compatriot Lengen Lolkurraru who came home in second place a minute and two seconds later.

Italian Jacopo Boscarini closed the first three podium finishes in a time of 1:10.28
