United States Sha’Carri Richardson was the talk of the town as she seized the spotlight at the on-going 19thhh edition of World Championships held in Budapest, Hungary.
Richardson crashed a deep elite field that included fasted woman over the distance Shericka Jackson and the legendary Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce when she etched her name into the annals of history by claiming the coveted women’s 100m with a championship Record time of 10.65 with Jackson forced to settle in second place 10.72. Five time world 100m champion who has been nursing an injury the whole of this season was left with no choice as she took the bronze medal in a time of 10.77.
