Reigning Sevilla Half Marathon champion, Sebastian Kimaru beat the Commonwealth Games 10,000m silver medalist Daniel Simiu Ebenyo at the 3rd edition of the Bahrain Night Half Marathon held on Friday (23) at the Bahrain International Circuit in Bahrain.
The 27 year-old who whipped Ebenyo two weeks ago at the world cross country Championship trials did it again in Bahrain as he trounced him when he cut the tape in a new personal best of 58:57 with the latter coming home in second place in 59:04.
The 2019 World 10,000m silver medallist, Yomif Kejelcha closed the podium three finishes in a time of 59:25.
Kenyan born Bahraini Abraham Cheroben and Vincent Ngetich from Kenya came home in fourth and fifth place in a time of 1:00.19 and 1:01.06 respectively.
