Kenya National 1500m bronze medallist, Samuel Kiplimo Naibei took the top honors at the first edition of the Iten International Marathon held on Sunday (18) in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
The 29 year-old came to this race with a personal best of 2:09.41 that he got at the Rome Marathon where he took the seventh place. Naibei took the honors in 2:08.43 with Joshua Kogo coming in second in 2:10.35.
Veteran Albert kangogo closed the podium three finishes in 2:11.46.
