Ruth Chepngetich misses the World Record by a whisker

Ruth Chepngetich wins the Chicago Marathon in style

The 2019 World Marathon champion Ruth Chepngetich ran the second fastest time in the world at the 44th edition of the Chicago Marathon held on Sunday (09) in Chicago.

Chepngetich missed the world record of 2:14.04 that was set by her compatriot by Brigid Kosgei in 2019 by fifteen seconds.
