World marathon champion Ruth Chepngetich will be leading Kenyan women marathoners’ at the 18th edition of the World Athletics Championships that will be held from July 15-24 at the newly reconstructed Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
Chepngetich who ran the second fastest time at the Nagoya Women’s Marathon last month has been named alongside the newly crowned Paris marathon champion Judith Jeptum, the 2021 Amsterdam marathon silver medalist Maureen Jepkemoi and Angela Tanui the current Amsterdam Marathon as a reserve.
