Three Kenyans have qualified for the final of the 800m race at the ongoing 4th edition of the World Deaf Athletics Championships that are ongoing at the Lublin Athletics Stadium in Poland.
The first to go through was Elikana Kiprop Rono who was in heat two which was faster and he finished in third place with a time of 1:58.93. The race was won by Poland’s Michal Pawel Kulpa who crossed the line 1:58.56 with second place going to Daniil Baganov from Russia running under (RCDS) who clocked 1:58.61.
JohnKiplanga Koech and Francis Nyamweya Rondi were placed in heat two and they both finished with 2:00.02 and 2:01.23 respectively.
Their heat was won by Spain’s Vidal Christian Munoz in a time of 2:00.47 with Aliaksandr Charniak from Belarus taking second place in 2:01.04
