The Road Safety Marathon “10km run” which was scheduled to take place on Sunday 21, November in Nakuru has been postponed to a later date.
The race which was to coincide with the world Day of Remembrance of Road Crashes Victims (WDoR) will now be held on a date that will be released later.
Speaking exclusively to athletics.co.ke, the race director, Pak Kariuki said, “The postponement is due to the inaugural and launching of the Stanbic Nakuru City Marathon scheduled to take place on 28th November this year in the same venue.”
“For now we are looking for another Athletics Kenya Regions to host the marathon as the two events are too close.” He concluded.
