World 10km record holder Rhonex Kipruto ran away with Kenya Police Cross Country Championships title that was held on Friday (7) at the Ngong Racecourse in Nairobi.
Kipruto battled with his team mate from the Rapid Border Patrol Unite (RBPU) Michael Kibet as he seemed to be a big threat him.
The World 10000m bronze medallist proved him wrong as he cut the tape in 30:28.6 with the latter coming home three micro seconds later. Josphat Kiprotich closed the first three podium finishes in 30:46.8.
Joseph Kiptum from NEP division and Edwin Bett from RDU finished in fourth and fifth place in 30:50.7 and 30:52.1 respectively.
