Kenya’s Peris Cherono Lagat won the 26th edition of the Rome women marathon that was held early Sunday (19) morning in Rome, Italy.
Lagat gave a kick of her lifetime passing her fellow Kenyan Judith Jurubet to cut the tape in 2:29.28 with Jerubet forced to settle in second place in 2:30.49.
