Nyairera wins silver in 800m women race

Kenya’s Margaret Nyairera got Kenya another silver medal when she finished behind the South Africa’s Caster Semenya at the Commonwealth Games.

Semenya who completed her double crossed the line in a new commonwealth record of 1:56.68 and was followed by Nyairera in 1:58.07 with Seychelles Joanna Houareau closed the podium three in 1:58.82
