Nicholas Bett finishes last in 400m hurdles in Gold Coast

Former world champion Nicholas Bett finished a disappointing eight place at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.

Kenya was expecting a medal from Bett who has a personal best of 47.79 that he got at the 2015 championships but managed to cross the line in sesventh place with a time of 51:00.

The race was won by Kyron McMaster from British Virgin Island in 48.25 and was followed by  American Jeffery Gibson who pulled a season best of 49.10 with Jamaican Jaheel Hyde closing the podium three in 49.16.

Bett’s brother Aron Kipchumba Koech finished sixth in 50.02
