Kenya’s Cosmas Matolo Muteti took top honors at the Maybank Bali Marathon that was held on Sunday (9) in Gianyar, Indonesia.
Muteti who came to this race with a personal best of 2:18.42 that he got at the 2017 Standard Chartered Marathon in Malaysia battled with fellow Kenyans at Bali but over powered them to lead a 1-2-3 Kenyan podium finish.
Muteti cut the tape in a new personal best of 2:15.55 and was followed by Kiprop Tanui and third place went to Cosmas Mutai.
