Moses Kurgat runs away with the Kuala Lumpur Marathon title

Kenya’s Moses Kiptoo Kurgat ran away with the men’s title on his marathon debut at the 30^th edition of the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon held on Sunday (13) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Kurgat who led 1-2-3 podium finish cut the tape in a time of 2:11.06 and was followed Kiprop Tonui who crossed the line in second with over four minutes later in 2:15.23 with Joseph Ngare closing the podium three finishes in 2:16.06.

“I would have recorded a better time if not the humid weather but am satisfied with my performance,” said Kurgat.
