The Athletics Integrity Unit has to day provisionally suspended Kipyegon Bett from all competitions. The suspension has come about after the athlete failed to submit sample collection as stated in Article 2.3 in the anti-doping rules.
The provisional suspension means that the 800m athlete will not participate in any upcoming race until it has been lifted. This comes in the wake of doping cases that have dogged Kenyan athletes over the last one month.
