Former National Olympics Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) chairman Kipchoge Keino promised mourners at the former 400m hurdles champion Nicholas Bett’s children will get free education..
The former Olympic champion owns two schools, The Kipchge Keino High school based in Turbo along Eldoret Bungoma highway and one at Kazi Mingi Farm.
“We have lost a young man who has just started his family. With such pain, the widow may not manage to educate all children but am promising this congregation and the family that Bett’s children will be enrolled for free at my school,” Kipchoge promised.
Bett died last week at road accident along Kapsabet-Nakuru Highway.
