Former World Half Marathon record holder, Kibiwott Kandie took the top honors at the Kenya Defence Forces Cross Country Championships held on Friday (06) at the Ulinzi Sports Complex, Nairobi.
The 26 year-old took the honors in a time of 29:24.5 and was followed by Vincent Mutai in 29:45.4 with Collins Koros closing the podium three finishes in 29:51.4.
Nanyuki’s Peter Mwaniki and Bethwel Chumba from Mtongwe finished in fourth and fifth in a time of 30:00.0 and 30:05.9 respectively.
