Commonwealth Games 100m silver medallist, Julien Alfred stunned Sha’ Carri Richardson in the women 100m race at the Memorial Istvan Gyulai held on Tuesday (18) in Szekesfehrvar, the penultimate Continental Tour Gold meeting of this season.
The 22 year-old handed Richardson her first defeat of the season when she clocked a fast 10.89 seconds (0.7) which is her third-fastest time of the season ahead of the American who came home in second in 10.97 seconds with Tamari Davis wrapping up the podium three finishes in 11.02 seconds.
