Former World Athletics Championships silver medallist, Helah Kiprop smashed the course record at the 43rd edition of the Copenhagen Women Marathon that was held on Sunday (15) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The 37 year-old who came to this race with the fastest time on paper of 2:21.27 that she got at the 2016 Tokyo Marathon where she took the honors, destroyed the old course record of 2:29.29 that was set in 2019 by Etalemahu Habtewold from Ethiopia by 5:19 minutes and setting a new course record of 2:24.10.
