Morocco’s Hassan Toriss took the top honors at the 10th edition of the Bali Marathon that was held on Sunday (28) in Bali Indonesia.
The 29 year-old who holds a personal best of 2:12.41 that he got early this year at the Daegu Marathon where he finished in twelfth place, dismantled a rich field that included four sub 2:20 athletes as he rammed into victory in a time of 2:15.38.
He was followed by two Kenyans Kiprop Tonui and Cornelius Chepkok who came home in second and third place in a time of 2:16.15 and 2:17.00 respectively.
Toriss took home kshs 1,618,400.
