World 800m champion Halimah Nakaayi took the top honors in women 800m race at the 37th edition of the Indoor Meeting Karlsruhe which is the first of this season’s seven World Indoor Tour Gold meetings, which was held on Friday, January 28 in Karlsruhe, Germany.

“It was a good competition. I was enjoying competing in front of such a big crowd. That pushed me very well. Thanks to all the supportive people here in Karlsruhe. The situation with coronavirus is bizarre, but we have to get used to it. We still have to give our best on the track. That’s our job”, said Nakaayi
