Kenyans continued their dominance in road races over the weekend as they stormed the Cameroonian and Chad boarder to take the top honors in both men and women races at the third edition of the cross-border half marathon called Marathon International N’Djamena – Kousseri (MINK) on Saturday (09) in Kousseri, Cameroon.
In the men’s category Geoffrey Kipyego took the top honors in a time of 1:08.20 and was followed in second place by Cameroonian Tchogah Djakdjing Pierre in 1:09.05 with his compatriot Tchoukeng Franck wrapping up the podium three finishes.
The women category was won by Susy Chemaimak beat her compatriot Naomi Wambui to second place with Cameroonian Nguetsa Liliane closing the podium three finishes.
