The Commonwealth Games 100m champion Ferdinand Omanyala will be the man to watch at the World Athletics Championships slated for August 19-27 in Budapest, Hungary.
The Africa 100m record holder will be the only Kenyan to competing in the 100m after at clocking the third fastest time in the world of 9.86 seconds at Athletics Kenya National Trials.
Former World U20 800m champion Emanuel Wanyonyi clocked 1:44.09 to win the men’s 800m followed by Alex Ngeno in second place in 1:44.21 with Olympic 800m silver medallist, Ferguson Rotich wrapping up the podium three finishes.
