Kenya’s Dickson Simba Nyakundi took the top honors at the 19th edition of the Cremona Half Marathon that was held on Sunday (17) in Cremona, Italy.
Nyakundi led 1-2-3 kenyan podium finish as he cruised easily as he missed the race course record by thirteen seconds, crossing the line in 1:01.46. The race course record of 1:01.33 that was set six years ago by Solomon Kirwa Yego remained intact.
Nyakundi was followed a distant later by Paul Tiongik who pulled 1:03.21 with Hosea Kimeli Kisorio closing the first three podium finishes in 1:03.38.
Kipkorir Birir also from Kenya finished in fourth in 1:03.55.
