Derara Hurisa beats Leonard Langat to lift the Vienna City Marathon title

Ethiopia’s Derara Hurisa stole the show at the 38th edition of the Vienna City Marathon that was held on Sunday (12) in Vienna, Austria.

Hurisa took charge at the 400m to go leaving Leonard Langat with no option as he surged to cut the tape 2:09.22 with Kenyan coming home in second three seconds later.

Ethiopi’s Betesfa Getahun closed the first three podium finishes in 2:09.42
