Kenya’s Dennis Kipkosgei took the top honors at the 10km Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge that was held on Sunday (7) in Philadelphia, USA.
Kipkosgei who runs for the Elkins Park Club proved too hard to beat as he climbed the treacherous bridge running solo to cut the tape in 29:25.
The 26 years-old was followed a distant later by United States Samuel Gerstenbacher who crossed the line in a time of 31:10. Landon Peacock closed the first three podium finishes with the same time as Gerstenbacher.
Gregory Morgan and Gregory Jaindl both from USA finished in fourth and fifth in a time of 31:19 and 31:29 respectively.
Kipkosgei won a fortnight ago the Broad Street 10mile and is expected to take part in Rockin Rib 10km that will be held in Florida.
