Ethiopia’s Demeke Kasaw Biksegn and Alemtsehay Asefa Kasegn took the top honors at the 35th edition of the Taipei Marathon that was held on Sunday (19) in Taipei, Taiwan.
Biksegn cut the tape in 2:11.42.
The race course record of 2:09.18 that was set in 2020 by Paul Lonyangata from Kenya remained intact.
The women’s race was won by Alemtsehay Asefa Kasegn also from Ethiopia as she cut the tape inn2:30.44.
