Kenya has bowed out of the 200m race semi-final at the 4th edition of the World Deaf Athletics Championships, being held at the Lublin Athletics Stadium in Poland.
David Omondi Wamira who was in Semi-final heat 1was forced to finish in position four with a time of 22:76 with each heat taking the first two and the fastest loser. The race was won by Japan’s Takuma Sasaki who crossed the line with a personal best of 22:33 and was followed closely by Malaysia’s Muhamad Nur Shahdan in 22.55.
Another Kenyan Simon Gona Menza who was in heat three failed to pull through when he finished in position five in atime of 23:31. This heat was won by Yasin Suzen who won with a personal best of 22.45 and was followed by Oleksandr Dmytryyenko in 22.54.
