Kenya’s David Metto took the top honors at the 19th edition of the Cracovia Marathon that was held on Sunday in Krakow, Poland.
Metto dominated the race from the gun point to run solo cutting the tape in 2:14.17 with second runner Thomas Janusz from Poland coming home over 20 minutes later.
The two times Kraków Marathon winner, Cosmas Kyeva who also holds a personal best of 2:09.57 that he got at the 2017 Debno Marathon, closed the podium finishes in a time of 2:37.17
In the women category race Moldova’s Lilia Fiskowicz took the honors in a time of 2:40.35 and she was followed by Poland’s Anna Bodnar who crossed the line 2:58.29 with her compatriot, Nicola Szafarczyk closing the podium three places in 3:06.18.
