Daniel Kemoi wins Austin Half Marathon

Kenya’s Daniel Kemoi won the 30thh edition of the Austin Half Marathon that was held on Sunday (20) in Austin, Texas.

Kemoi took charge of the race at the 18km mark and never looked back winning the race comfortably in a time of 1:03.48.

The 35 year old led 1-2 Kenyan podium finish as he followed a distant later by Lawrence Kipkoech who crossed the line in 1:05.06 with United States Riley Cook closing the podium finishes in 1:07.09.

Austin Del Rosso and Ben Fletcher finished in fourth and fifth place in a time of 1:07.20 and 1:07.58 respectively.
