World and Olympic 3,000m steeplechase champion Conseslus Kipruto escaped unhurt following Tuesday night accident along Eldoret Kapsabet road near Eldoret International Airport.
The accident occurred after the Kipruto’s vehicle hit a moving tractor from behind damaging the front wheel, with the tractor rear tire bursting rendering it immovable.
The world 3000m steeplechase champion, together with the occupants of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
