Kenya’s Daniel Simiu Ebenyo gifted the country the most waited silver medal in the men’s 10,000m race at the 19thh edition of the World Athletics Championships happening in Budapest, Hungary.
The reigning commonwealth Games silver medallist finished second in a time of 27:52.60 behind the Olympic champion, Joshua Cheptegei from Uganda who won the race 27:51.42.
Ethhiopia’s Selemon Barega was forced to settle in third place in a time of 27:55.72.
