Bernard Musau Wambua won the 38th edition of the Firenze Half Marathon that was held on Sunday (10) in Firenze, Italy.
The 22 year-old who runs for Atletica Castello Club came to this race with the fastest time on paper of 1:01.55 that he got last year in Germany where he finished in eighth place.
Wambua led a 1-2 Kenyan podium finish as he cut the tape in a time of 1:04.29 with his compatriot Mike Kipruto coming home in 1:06.44.
France’s Anthony Baumal who was making his half marathon debut closed the podium three finishes in 1:08.08.
