Kenya’s Barnabas Kipyego Bor was the talk of the town when he won the 36th edition of the PKO Wroclaw Maraton that was held on Sunday in Wroclaw, Poland.
Bor faced a stiff challenge from his fellow country-mates that included Hosea Kiplagat Tuei and Abel Kibet Rop who pulled together for the better part of the race.
The slow pace forced Bor to take charge of the group from the 35km mark and he held on not look back cutting the tape in 2:17.47.
Bor who led 1-2-3 Kenyan finish was followed on by Tuei who crossed the line a distant later in 2:19.40 with Rop closing the first three podium finishes in 2:19.44.
