Just a week after lifting the Kenya National 10,000m Championships title, Keneth Kiprop was at it again running away with Lisbon Half Marathon title on Sunday (8) in Lisbon, Portugal.
The 25 year-old who will represent Kenya at the Africa Senior Championships that will be held from June 8-12 in Mauritius.
The 25 year-old who beat a strong rich field that included the North Rift region 10,000m champion, Abraham Longosiwa, former Olympics silver medallist Paul Tanui and Japan based athlete Wesley Kimutai took charge of the race at the 18km and held on to cut the tape in a time of 1:00.13 with Mohamed Esa from Ethiopia coming home in second place in 1:01.00.
Elvis Kipchoge Cheboi closed the podium finishes in a time of 1:01.03.
