The 2015 African Games 10,000m champion, Alice Aprot Nawowuma has been suspended by Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK).
The 29 year-old who is also the 2016 African Cross Country Champion was suspended for Presence Of Prohibited Substance S4 – Letrozole Metabolite Bis-(4- Cyanophenyl) Methanol which is a breach of the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules.
Aprot was pulled out of team Kenya to African Senior Africa Athletics championships last year in June to what was said to be an injury that she had incurred while in the camp, but it seems she had tasted positive after being examined by Adak officials as she was suspended the following month by the Kenya Anti-doping governing body.
