Agnes Jebet runs away with Baringo Cross Country title

Agnes Ng’etich Jebet and Geoffrey Rono took the top honors at the Baringo County Athletics Cross country championship that was on Tuesday (28) at the Metipso Primary School.

Rono battled for the honors with Julius Kipkwony and Musa Mitei who he overpowered cutting the tape in 29:43 with Kipkwnoy coming home second thirteen seconds later.

Mitei closed the first three podium finishes in 29:58.

In the women category Jebet was the star of the game as she cut the tape in 34:45 with judy Jepkemoi following her in second in 34:53 with Josphine Wanjiku closing the podium three finishes in 35:20
