Kenya’s Josphat Too and Panuel Mkungo, who won the Istanbul Marathon two weeks ago finished in fourth and fifth place in respective time of 28:13 and 28:16.
The defending champion Bett finished a distant sixth with his fellow Kenyan Peter Mwaniki Njeru coming home in seventh in 28:36 and 28:38 respectively.
