Kenya’s Musa Kipsoyan Mitei ran away with honors at the 22nd edition of the Udine Half Marathon held on Sunday (19) in Udine, Italy.
Mitei led 1-2-3-4 Kenyan finish in a hotly contested race as he took the honors in a time of 1:02.05 with The Philadelphia and Miami half marathon champion Panuel Mkungo taking second position in six seconds later.
Simon Mwangi closed the podium three finishes in a time of 1:07.17 with Thika based athlete, Peter Wanyoike coming home in fourth in 1:02.28.
Rwanda’s Celestine Ndikumana and Robert Yego from Kenya crossed the finish line in fifth and sixth place in a time of 1:02.49 and 1:02.50 respectively.
