Bravin Kiprop takes the men’s title at Eldoret Cross Country

Bravin Kiprop won the senior men’s 8km race at the inaugural University of Eldoret Cross Country championships held on Saturday (18) at the UoE Sports Pavilion.

Kiprop cut the tape in a time of 16:40.3 and was followed in second place by Ayub Kiptum in 16:54.2 with Nixon Chesi finishing in third place in 16:59.4.

Reuben Longosiwa who is the husband to Emmaculate Anyango the winner in the women’s race, came home in fourth in 17:08.6 with Felix Kipkorir finishing in fifth in 17:09.5.
