Kenya’s Noah Kigen Kiprotich took the top honors at the 12th edition of the Jerusalem Winner Marathon held on Friday (17) in Jerusalem, Israel.
The 34 year-old took the honors in a time of 2:18.13 with Spain’s Chakib Achgar Iatrache coming home in second in 2:25.45. Israel’s Gamber Melakmo closed the podium three finishes in a time of 2:28.30.
The race course record of 2:16.09 that was set nine years ago by Kenya’s Ronald Kurgat remains standing.
The winners pocketed a prize of $3,750; the second place won $2,500; and the third place won $1,250.
