Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala was beaten to second place at the Gala dei Castelli Bellinoza meeting a World Athletics Continental Tour Silver level series held on Monday (04) in Bellinzona, Switzerland.
The reigning Commonwealth Games 100m champion who was the race favorite was out-sprinted by Jamaican Oblique Seville in the final 10m mark to cross the line first in 10.01 with the African sensation, forced to settle in second in 10.04 seconds.
The second fastest man on the African continet Akani Simbine wrapped up the podium three finishes in 10.13 seconds.
