World 1500m Champion Faith Chepngetich and World 1500m silver medallist Timothy Cheruiyot will headline the Athletics Kenya Sotik Cross Country Meeting that will be held on Saturday in Bomet County.
The 23 year-old who is also the Olympic 1500m Champion is a former world junior cross country and will be competing in 10km senior women category.
In the senior men race Cheruiyot will be making an appearance as he seeks to taste his mental fitness and he clashes with the 2013 World Cross Country Champion Japhet Korir in the second meeting of Athletics Kenya cross country championships in the South Rift region
Africa Junior Cross Country champion Miriam Cherop will be defending her crown as she faces Immaculate Chepkirui.
Chepkirui won silver in 3000m U18 World Championships staged in Nairobi this year. The two are tipped to go all the way to Algeria next year based on their current form.
World U18 boys 2000m champions Leonard Bett will be looking for the Junior Men crown.
